We will use this page to keep you informed about forthcoming holiday dates and any special excursions/holidays etc.
Set out in the table below are the scheduled archaeology holidays for Spring 2006. The holidays include a varied range of archaeological excursions and fieldwork opportunities.
The multi-period landscape holiday will include visits to known sites and monuments, while new landscapes will be surveyed and recorded.
The prehistoric landscapes holiday will focus on visits to some of the outstanding sites and monuments from this period in Skye & Lochalsh, while fieldwork will include the detailed survey of prehistoric settlement in the north of Skye.
The walking and archaeology holiday will investigate some of the more remote multi-period archaeological landscapes on the island of Skye, and will provide the opportunity to discover and record new sites and monuments.
All of the holidays are of three days duration (four nights) and include B&B accommodation, packed lunches, transport costs for the duration of the holiday and all activities. Evening meals can be arranged in the accommodation package if required. Please contact us for details.
